I study how health systems in resource-poor settings build resilience through crisis. My work spans health governance in Sub-Saharan Africa and questions of equity in global development. I also examine how public attitudes toward immigration shape health policy preferences in the United States. I teach American Politics and Institutions at Northern Arizona University, where I prepare students to analyze power, policy, and institutions in action.
Beyond my research, I develop open educational resources for political science pedagogy. My work includes a textbook analysis guide for undergraduate methods courses, published on APSA Educate.
